Last year NUS Scotland won an extra £1200 for mature students and £600 for young students in the maximum level of student support available from next year. This was a direct result of you and thousands like you completing our hardship survey.
I'm now emailing to let you know that NUS Scotland has launched its Still in the Red student support survey because we want to get more money in your pocket.
We want to fix the current funding system and you can help by filling out the survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/stillinthered. We need to hear from you what works and what doesn't in the current system so that we can all work together to get students the financial support they deserve. The more people that fill out the survey, the more power we will all have in taking students' views direct to the Scottish Parliament and Scottish Government.
We'd therefore be really grateful for your time in filling out the survey (it takes 4 or 5 mins). Feel free to forward it to other students you know too. Not only can you make a real difference to students in Scotland but you could also win £100 in a prize draw! The survey will close on March 5th and so it would be great if you could fill it in before then.
If you would like any more information on this or any other aspect of NUS Scotland's work do feel free to get in contact. By working together we can make a real difference for students in Scotland.
Thanks for your help,

Liam Burns, President NUS Scotland
